🏢 Introduction The Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization, and National Policies, along with the Department of Sri Lanka Customs, has announced an open competitive examination. The exam aims to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Superintendent of Customs, Grade II. The application process is entirely online and is available on the Department of Examinations' website.
📅 Important Dates The application window opens on September 22, 2023, at 9:00 AM and closes at midnight on October 16, 2023. A grace period of three days is provided after the closing date for any necessary amendments to the applications.
⚠️ Note Incomplete applications will be rejected without notice. The examination is scheduled for December 2023 in Colombo. The exact date will be announced later.
👥 Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
- Should possess excellent moral character.
- Age should be between 21 and 35 years as of the closing date for applications.
🚫 Exclusions No person ordained in any religious sect is allowed to sit for this examination.
📏 Physical Requirements
- For males: Minimum height of 5 feet 5 inches and a chest size of at least 33 inches when expanded.
- For females: Minimum height of 5 feet 3 inches.
🎓 Educational Qualifications
-Must have a degree of at least three years from a recognized university. -Must have at least a credit pass in English at the GCE O/L Examination or a simple pass at the GCE A/L Examination.
