    2. Katrina CardenasColombo and vicinity is usually safe but only inconvenience is rain and flash floods on roads. But travelling to affected area and usually they are the places tourists visit will be a problem.

    2. Tivanka Wickramaratne You see sir, this is Sri Lanka. A third world developing country with lack of technology, so give it a break. At least they didn’t inform after the disaster.

      11 months
    3. Pasidu Perera You see sir...At least go to the BBC weather and start predicting. Then no breaks are needed.... This rain will come to an end on Saturday at about 6am and no rains at least until Tuesday...What more breaks do you want sir??

      11 months
    4. Tivanka Wickramaratne You know BBC is just a news channel right? They say what profits them most. So the Sri Lankan weather forecast department cannot depend on BBC’s news. In terms of break, I am talking about not criticizing the Sri Lankan weather forecast department for being late to address or notify the issue for its people. Just last year October BBC said there will be 13 mph wind speed and 404 celcius temperature. I don’t know was it now?
