400 vehicles stuck at Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Customs, Importers warn of price hike

⭕ Over 400 vehicles have been held at Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Customs for over 20 days due to import regulation issues

⭕ The requirement to specify production year or exact manufacturing date has made compliance difficult for importers

⭕ Demurrage charges during the delay will drive up vehicle prices by Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000

⭕ Importers are urging the government to intervene immediately to resolve the issue and prevent price hikes
