💼💰 Freelancers & Service Exporters in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 to Face 15% Tax from April 2025

From April 1, 2025, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 will tax foreign service income & foreign source income for individuals and companies. Here's what you need to know:

⭕ Individuals: Taxed up to 15% under a progressive system.

⭕ Companies: Flat 15% tax on foreign earnings.

⭕ Previously, foreign source income was tax-exempt to encourage forex inflows.

⭕ In 2018-2019, this exemption was briefly removed, then reinstated. Now, it's scrapped again under the 2025 amendments.
