🗳️ Election Campaign Finance Transparency or Just a Facade❓

⭕️ The expenditure reports for the 2024 Presidential Election, submitted by parties and candidates, can only be reviewed in person at specific locations during working hours.
⭕️ It almost feels like the Election Commission asked itself, "How can we technically make these documents public, but ensure the fewest people can actually see them?" The decision to limit access to specific locations and hours achieves just that.
⭕️ These reports are complex financial documents that require specialized knowledge to scrutinize effectively. How many citizens, especially those with the necessary expertise, will actually visit these locations to scrutinize them?
⭕️ If true transparency is the goal, why not publish these documents online? Making them digitally accessible would ensure that experts and the public alike can review them without barriers.
⭕️ In a digital era, limiting access to in-person review seems like an outdated method that reduces public participation rather than enhancing transparency.
