Understanding Government Debt: It's Not Like Household Debt

⭕ Government is not a household. Almost every government in the world functions on borrowed money through bonds and other means.
⭕ The government's main concern is the interest on those loans and recurring expenses relative to government revenue.
⭕ Money will always be borrowed to pay off previous debt. It's a continuous cycle.
⭕ The global financial system is built on this model of government debt and borrowing. It's not about "paying it all off."
⭕ The real questions are: Is the borrowing sustainable? Is it being used for productive investments? That's what matters.
Governments run on debt, and that's by design. It's all about managing it effectively, not eliminating it.
