🚀 The Emoji Evolution: From 176 pictograms in 1999 to 3,790 by 2025, emojis have seen massive growth! 📈

⭕ In 2025, 8 new emojis will be added:

A paint splatter, a leafless tree, a tired face with bags under its eyes, a harp, a shovel, a human fingerprint, a root vegetable, and the flag of Sark.

⭕ Yet, still no emoji for the gas cylinder— hence we use 🐘 Ranil Wickremesinghe. It would be nice if the Election Commission considered emoji compatibility as a factor when choosing symbols for candidates.
