🇱🇰 SL Customs Achieves 1 Trillion in Revenue for the First Time

⭕️For the first time in its history, Sri Lanka Customs has surpassed 1 trillion in revenue.

⭕️The revenue target for Customs in 2024, set by the IMF & Ministry of Finance, is Rs. 1.5 trillion.

⭕️The previous highest revenue record was Rs. 975 billion in 2023.

⭕️Typically, 25%–30% of total customs revenue comes from car imports, but this figure has dropped below 6%.
