💵 Government Announces Major Salary Hike for Public Servants Starting in 2025

⭕ Primary-level service categories will receive a minimum salary increase of 24%, with hikes ranging from 24% to 50%, depending on fiscal feasibility.

⭕ The basic salary for primary-level workers will be increased to Rs. 30,000, with the total monthly income, including allowances, reaching Rs. 55,000.

⭕ A Rs. 25,000 cost of living allowance will be provided for 3 years starting in January 2025.

Due to the recent inflation caused by the economic crisis, many gov servants are living below the poverty line. While increasing their salaries is necessary, can the government afford it? The answer is most certainly no.
