The Supreme Court of Sri Lanka suspended a contract given to the private consortium IVS-GBS and VFS Global to handle visa issuance yesterday.
⭕Tourists heading for Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 are now in limbo, as there is no official on-arrival visa issuance system in place as of now.
⭕ Department of Immigration and Emigration must reactivate the old system as per the Supreme Court order ASAP. Otherwise, this would seriously hurt the industry.
