⭕️The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has approved a reduction of electricity tariffs by 22.5% overall.

⭕️The domestic tariff has been reduced by 27%, religious places by 30%, hotels and industries by 25%, and public utilities and government institutions have also seen a reduction.

⭕️The new electricity tariffs will be effective from July 16, 2024.
