📢 Sri Lanka to End Vehicle Import Controls by 2025 🇱🇰🚗

The IMF report outlines SL gov's phased plan to end vehicle import controls by 2025:

⭕ 2024 Q3: Public passenger and special purpose vehicles.
⭕ 2024 Q4: Goods transport vehicles.
⭕ 2025: All remaining vehicle categories.

A detailed plan, including tax and reserve implications, will be finalized by June 15, 2024.
