🚨 Kelani River Flood Situation Update - 09.00 PM, 29 November

⭕️ Nagalagam Street water level has risen to 6.65 ft; the official Major Flood level is 7 ft. Upstream water is now slowly reaching Colombo.

⭕️ During the 2016 floods, Nagalagam Street water level peaked at 7.64 ft.

⭕️ Given the fact that, Glencourse is still recording water levels above Major Flood level. Tomorrow, Nagalagam Street could rise above 8 ft.

⭕️ There's a high chance it will remain above Major Flood level for at least a couple of days.
