  2. This is what happens though if we ruin our country with Indianisation. Ceylon had much much much better public transport 60 years ago. Not a SINGLE Indian thing on our roads or rail tracks back then. Mercedes Benz buses and British trains. Today we should be having Chinese/Japanese/Korean trains and proper buses from East Asia. And technology transfer/upscale our own industry to build such things after we get it. The dumb Indian subservient politicians spend bullet train sums on buying worthless Indian transportation.

  13. I have a doubt on the reliability of these sources, because when taking the Delhi Traffic congestion, SL is much better. On the other hand Delhi is congested within 24 hours.

  16. Get more busses to the road and get rid of metro rail projects.. Then all will be OK.. 🤪

    1. Rosh Gardi New models of vehicles doesnt suit our traffic network as it is becoming extra large vehicles. Adding one way routes from to District to District and within the District adding more congestions. No one adhere to road rules regulations

  18. One should modernise the ‘punchi kochchi’ and all the railways to help this ridiculous situation. It’s a shame that the Rajapakse’s sabotaged the Japanese light railway - allegedly, because they wanted bribes.

    1. Suran Goonatilake Correct, but this government are also sabotaging it by claiming it costs too much when it is practically free with inflation and the grace period! They aren't restarting it either if the news media is to be believed regarding a Minister's recent statement.
